Mission & Relief also purchase large batches of relief goods. We can then sell these goods in smaller batches to relief organisations. This procurement service enables organisations to access relief goods at much lower prices than would be possible otherwise. Critically, we can also provide the export documents to ship the goods with the 0% value added tax (VAT). In addition to our large-scale general purchases, we also focus on worldwide acquisition of specific goods which organisations themselves cannot find or have limited access to. Whenever possible, we purchase goods in the destination country, or in the destination region. This allows further savings on customs and transport and very significantly strengthens the local economies.
